What we Love

One of the better things to come out of the pandemic has been noticing how many of us have started, or re-discovered, doing things we love.

The small things that matter, like being in nature, more time with loved ones, knowing more about our local area, or a hobby.

Right now, it’s more important than ever to make time for the things we love. Things that are easily accessible, in which we can immerse ourselves.

Imagine applying that to our work. How good is it when we’re so immersed in it, that we enjoy that state of flow where a productive day passes in an instant? If we’re currently in a space where we feel less for our work, we could consider the aspects of our role we enjoy, the people we interact with.

Loving your work is often laughed at. It’s an important step towards achieving what you want to accomplish, in being a more valuable colleague and enjoying your own work at its best.

Make time to do the things you love, like we did walking around Findhorn Bay yesterday. See if you can identify what you love about your work and make the most of that, too.
