Tranquility

a man in waterproofs walking through summer wetlands

Sometimes all you need is your loved ones and nature.

We’ve just enjoyed a wonderful week on an eco-estate in North East Perthshire. The landscape was unspoilt and pure, the wildlife all roamed freely and time seemed to stand still. Everywhere we walked, we moved quietly, to give the wildlife enough peace so we could see it.

The wet weather gave plenty of time for reading, reflection, creating and playing my own music in brilliant acoustics.

It was another lesson in the importance of using what’s already there, what’s around you right now. We sometimes miss this in our search for new solutions.

List the people and things around you right now. What more could you offer them? What more could you accomplish with them? Your answers could give you a more creative, productive and inclusive environment.
