The Marvellous Unexpected

Every day marvellous things happen that many regard as unexpected. Apparently out of the blue, we meet that special person, win a good piece of work, nail that pitch, resolve that conflict.

Is it really unexpected?

These things happen to us when we show up, be our true selves and put in the hard work. Luck often plays a part, yet we often look back and realise how much we did to make the marvellous happen.

Earlier this week, plenty of people here went to the promenade and the beach. Their auric activity apps pinging, a clear sky, the perfect conditions.

They did the groundwork, they showed up, they saw the marvellous unexpected illuminate the sky with Nature’s Light Show.

Next time something marvellously unexpected happens to you, think about how you put the work in, showed up and played your part in making it happen.
