The wonderful Nairn Yarnbombers have been out in force again, covering our postboxes with timely decoration.
My favourite is our local postbox:
Red poppy to commemorate the fallen soldiers.
Purple poppy for the fallen animals.
White poppy for peace.
The brave died so we can enjoy living in peace and freedom. Peace is hard-fought and often, too easily taken for granted and lost.
My wish is that we remember those who gave their lives and cherish the peace that is their lasting gift to us all.
