Reinvention

Loch Morlich in autumn with low-hanging clouds around the trees

While I was working with some graduates on adaptability this week, I asked for some good examples. One person mentioned nature, which was very apt, given that the summer greens are turning into autumn browns.

Like nature, we can benefit from a little reinvention now and again. When you know your purpose and what brings you pleasure, it becomes easier to tweak what you do and how you do it. In turn, you find more confidence to try something new.

On our way back from today’s walk on Britain’s highest beach, I bought the meat and cheese from the farm shop. Today’s new thing was Appenzeller cheese. Lovely!

These little tweaks can help you reinvent, renew your purpose and find new pleasures. Make them a habit, you get even more…
