It has been bewildering, losing both our dogs within one week. A second round of grief, mixed with our joy that Pearl is now free of pain, after choosing to join her best friend Eivor.
Pearl was small in size, but huge in every way. She lived life to the full, doing everything with great gusto, whether it was exploring, playing, running, or loving.
Pearl had purpose. She made the most of every day, filling it with love, action and intensity.
While we’re doubly grieving, we will carry on living with purpose. We know Pearl will always be watching and encouraging us, giving her love, as she has for the last eight years.
