More Strings to Play

This week I got another instrument. This is my bouzouki, made in Romania, travelled up here from Yorkshire.

Playing music has become so important to me over the last three years. It is so much fun, it offers a sense of progress and different processes to master. It allows you to be creative without any pressure.

For a non-work activity, playing music is a brilliant way to switch off. It gets you using your senses and co-ordinating different parts of your brain. I’ve found myself learning in different ways, that help me in my work.

Go on, pick an instrument and start playing. You’ll learn new processes, get creative, give your brain a different daily workout and have fun!
