Friday the 13th

Are you superstitious?

I let go of superstition in 1980. I went to Leeds to watch Everton in an FA Cup semi-final replay. Before I left, my Mum gave me a ‘lucky charm’. West Ham scored the winner in the last minute of extra time… No more superstition for me!

This means that for me, Friday the 13th is just another day. A chance for us to walk in the Cairngorms and enjoy the sights, smells and sounds of nature. It was so quiet, maybe some superstitious people stayed at home?

A lovely end to a productive week.

What’s your superstition? What’s it based on?
